Dr. Ronald Kaplan
Dr. Kaplan attended Rutger’s University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating college and beginning his new career, he realized that his true passion was to be doing something that would help people live higher quality lives. His experience with a past health problem sparked his interest in the health field, ultimately resulting in his decision to become a Chiropractor. Chiropractic was the key to him regaining his health after the traditional medical approach had failed. With Chiropractic, he would be able to help people naturally. Dr. Kaplan went back to study at Boston State College for an additional 2 years and ultimately began his post graduate education in Chiropractic College.
Dr. Kaplan spent the next 5 academic years studying at the National College of Chiropractic where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree. Realizing this was only the beginning of his learning, he furthered his studies at the Physician’s Academy in Dallas, Texas while he opened his practice in 1985. He founded Kaplan Chiropractic Associates located in Villa Park, Illinois where he specializes in health issues and promoting Wellness, not just covering the symptoms. Dr. Kaplan’s philosophy is that if we develop basic patterns that promote health and make the process simple, people are more likely to achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle. This will result in better health for them and their families. “The better we take care of ourselves, the better we can take care of others”. By paying attention to the basics, we can all live a healthier and happier life.
Dr Kaplan continued his studies and brought technology into his practice. We offer multiple techniques and utilize them to meet each patient's specific needs. This includes conventional manual adjusting as well as using Sigma Instrument Adjusting. "Sigma Instrument Adjusting uses advanced technology that enables me to analyze the situation every visit, perform a technologically advanced adjustment, and re-analyze to see the results right then and there. And this is done without the necessity of any twisting or popping." Knowing that different people respond differently to various techniques, Dr. Kaplan has attained proficiency in other techniques as well to meet the needs of a variety of clients. Since incorporating Sigma Instrument Adjusting along with other techniques he sees better results, many times in shorter periods of time.
Dr. Kaplan maintains membership in the Illinois Prairie States Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. He is a sought after speaker on topics such as Health Issues In Today's World, Health the Natural Way, and Wellness…Getting Back To Basics.
Dr, Kaplan also offers the most advanced and effective Weight Loss Program known today. His patients lose weight quickly, easily, safely and maintain their weight loss better. This program addresses the important components that are now known to interfere with weight loss efforts. "The results are beyond belief" says Dr. Kaplan. One couple that started his program has lost over 100 pounds and kept it off.. Another patient lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks and continues to lose more. And Dr. Kaplan has lost 15 pounds himself using this program. "It amazes me how quickly and easily patients are losing weight with our program, When weight loss is quick, safe and easy, people do not struggle the way they have with some other programs and ultimately are happier with their results".
Dr. Kaplan also believes in supporting the community and those less fortunate. He is an avid supporter and contributor to TLC Camp, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings. He also supports PADS, Public Action to Deliver Shelter, an organization helping with shelter and meals for the homeless. In addition he is a member of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Villa Park Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Kaplan has been awarded Outstanding Humanitarian Awards and is a member of the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance.

Marge joined our practice in 2001 and has never looked back. She started as a patient and was amazed at the results, being able to avoid surgery that was advised by her medical doctor. This was only the beginning. She also felt great improvement with other health issues that she never thought were related, such as an annual chronic cough lasting from September until the first frost every year since she was young. She began as a technical assistant, was promoted to office manager, and has since attained certifications as a Wellness Advisor and Radiology Technician. She also completed an 18 month long Chiropractic Assistant program. Marge attends ongoing continuing education seminars in order to better serve our patients.
Marge is very active with the Lombard Junior Woman's Club and has chaired many commitees during the past 18 years. She is an avid supporter and has been the director, co-director and participant at TLC Camp, a camp for kids with cancer and a sibling. This is a one week annual camp run by the Lombard Junior Woman's Club and 100% staffed by volunteers. Planning for this camp takes a full year and is very costly. Funding for camp is solely from donations and fund rasiers that her club runs throughout the year. For more information go to TLC Camp.org. Philanthropy and service are inborn passions for Marge and it shows every day.
